A little funny anecdote : I was by Zara, walking along the shelves when I suddenly stumbled on this checked pattern tunic, the colour is nice, the shape too. I look at the price that is also nice. I put myself in front of a mirror to see how it looks like….Then a girl comes with her boy friend. She points me out and her « nice » friend shouts : Aaah, it’s ugly !!, The girl comes close to me and, with a vile glance in her eyes, shows all the hate she has for this poor little tunic, saying « Anyhow, Zara, it’s ugly, one must be silly fool to buy that… ». Really, believe me , I haven’t left the shop, weeping and putting down the tunic beeing sick at heart, for, it so happens that this tunic was the last one and I was wondering if, finally, It wasn’t a vicious tactic to incite me putting down the dress. Petite anecdote croustillante : J’étais donc chez zara, en train d’écumer les rayons, et je tombe sur cette liquette à carreaux, le motif me plait bien, la forme aussi, je regarde le prix, il me plait aussi, je me mets face à un miroir pour tenter de voir ce que ça donnerait sur moi … Arrivent une jeune femme et son ami. Celle-ci me montre du doigt et son sympathique ami s’écrie : Aaah c’est moche !! Elle s’approche et transmet de son regard vil toute la haine qu’elle a contre ma pauvre tunique qui n’a rien demandé ” De toute façon Zara c’est moche, faut vraiment être imbécile pour acheter ça …” Vous vous doutez bien que je ne suis pas partie en pleurant reposer ma liquette la mort dans l’âme,, car il se trouve que c’était la dernière et je me suis demandé si finalement ce n’était pas une tactique vicieuse pour me faire reposer ma liquette , bizarrement j’ai eu l’impression d’avoir été suivie pendant tout le reste de ma balade chez Zara …

Traditional pattern ! I didn’t yet have such stuff (or a very few), and the reasons are that I always have difficulty finding nice one, and also the feeling that it will be taken « at face value ». During my shopping trip in Antwerp, while scouring Urban Outtfitters up and down, I stumbled over this skirt, precisely the colour and shade I am fond of : 100 % pure silk, perfect cut… The only thing that worries me : the pattern… I spent the rest of my time, rummaging with the skirt in my hand, wondering if I will adopt it or not… As I hate to have to regret something and considering that I cross the door of an Urban Outfitters once a century, I decided to launch into the crazy experience of traditional pattern …

Du motif Folko ! Ça je n’avais pas encore ( ou alors très peu!), et pour cause, j’ai toujours du mal à en trouver de beaux, toujours peur que ça finisse trop premier degré. Lors de ma journée shopping à Anvers, en écumant le Urban Outfitters de long en large, je suis tombée sur cette jupe, totalement dans les tons de couleurs que j’affectionne, 100% soie, petite coupe parfaite… Le seul souci : Le motif donc… J’ai passé le reste de mon farfouillage avec la jupe à la main, sans savoir si j’allais l’adopter ou pas … Comme je n’aime pas avoir de regrets, que je foule le sol d’un Urban Outfitters tous les 36 du mois et bien j’ai décidé de me lancer dans la folle aventure du motif folklorique …
