Wigwam Motel
We could have travelled between Palm Springs and Los Angeles in one go, but we decided to stop halfway and spend the night at the Motel Wigwam in San Bernardino ! I really love kitsch motels !! (but the Madonna Inn is still my favourite ).

I’m carrying on with my California trip …
We are in Palm Springs ! One of our favourite cities, to Mathieu and I ! It’s the 3rd time we go there ! Our fave hotel : the Saguaro ! Remember, it’s the place where I took the pictures with my donut-shaped pool float, it was 3 years ago ! The heat is still so unbearable and the atmosphere still so cool !

Joshua Tree national park
This is the wonderful light we discover early morning ( as I haven’t slept a wink all night, I was awoken at sunrise). The morning light is just as beautiful as the evening light, but different. I’m wondering if I would be able to tell a difference between both when I see my photos without knowing.
We took Mathieu’s pictures at that time. Til tomorrow for the rest of our trip
Sunset in Joshua Tree
After criss-crossing wonderful remote roads, we arrive at Joshua Tree National Park. We already went to the park 4 years ago, when we did our very first road trip. As you might imagine, we never get bored of visiting the american national parks.
In the middle of nowhere, we hired a small lodge from AirBnB. We arrive there at sunset and it’s just breathtaking. The night quickly falls and it was strange, I feel like I’m in a movie, the coyotes yelp, the slightest breath of air startles me and what if a mad man comes nearby with a chainsaw ?
Really strange, but paradoxically I loved the atmosphere, between the magic and anxiety.
