Before going to LA, we decided to make a short stop in the Mojave Desert. We stopped in the Joshua Tree National Park. A nice place, in the middle of nothing, with vintage shops, and restaurants with really good organic food, genuine Saloons and our Motel « just like it is in the movies », the High Desert Motel …

The next day, we arrive in LA late afternoon : I’m almost COLD ! Spending more than one week in the deserts, it’s now 28°C ( 83° F.) in LA and it seems to me I’m in an air-conditioned place ! Tired and lazy, we eat at the (delicious) restaurant in the hotel. Naïvely I order a Banana Split. Bad idea. They serve me a huge layered ice cream ^^. I always forget that, here, the portions are 3 times bigger than they are in France ! Well, here we are in LA for a few days … xoxo
