Carine Roitfeld ! Wow ! On Carine’s book publication « Irreverent » (aka an amazing book, full of beautiful photographs, and it isn’t a paperback, right !), I was lucky enough to meet her.

I really was spellbound. The truth is, I had a preconceived idea on her, a picture of « fashion people » and of course, no need to draw you a picture, I was completely off track !

When Carine says, she has never bought a Vogue issue before beeing the fashion editor, because she thought it wasn’t her thing, it’s really simple but I felt like interrupting her and say « just like meeee » ! If even Vogue had this effect on Carine, then…! Or else, when she tells me, when she was a young fashion designer, about her apprehension entering a Chanel boutique, this is really cute.

I also fully agree with her and the fact that she always keeps and wears again her clothes. Love for one’s clothes ! She was wearing a 4 year old Balenciaga blouse ( whaaaat, so vintage !) . Anyway, as usual, I didn’t take notes (somehow, taking notes is so 2008 ) and I’ve completely forgotten half of the things I wanted to tell you about her … But she is so adorable, and approachable, a kindness that comes from the heart.
