comptoir des cotonniers powatag 2

Last time, I set a little puzzle about a black and white thing that looks good and will change the way we go shopping … ( Well, it made me laugh to read « ultrasound scan » in your answers ^^).

So, the answer was this puzzling QR code we can see now almost everywhere for years. I see them everywhere myself but I never think of scanning the code because I can’t say it interests me very much.

And that’s where Comptoir des Cotonniers is entering onto the scene with this concept that speaks to me a lot : each QR code becomes a potential store. The name of the app that allows to read the code is Powatag ( I can only invite you to download it ).

For the launch, CDC has the exclusiveness of this concept, in a few months, other brands will take part in this adventure and in theory, if all goes well, in 10 years it will be quite usual to scan a bus shelter to buy a tee shirt there !

Voilà, another new step in the evolution of the internet ( and of course, you can find below my outfit presented as tags … )

Your blog looks fantastic! It’s been a while since I last came here. But girl, you rock! =)

Fascinating. If I hadn’t read about it here I probably would never have thought of trying to make use of those scannable patterns for shopping. I like the woven in look of the fabric of the skirt you styled in your outfit. Your dark hair is very pretty and contrasts nicely with your white blouse.
