Voilà ! After one month in California, then back in Paris for a few days, I spent my time trying to get over jet lag (in vain in the end, as I’m now in New York for the Fashion Week and for many other things). New York, a city true to itself, intensely busy and over all very hot ( hot-humid with 95° F) … Here we go for the New York Diary !

Aqui estou eu de volta das minhas férias, que passei com a família e os amigos… No começo, eu tinha pensado em postar só um pouco no blog, pelo menos alguns artigos. Como é muito raro poder passar bastante tempo com a minha família, eu decidi aproveitar esse momento. Além disso, com o Instagram eu não ia ficar com a impressão de ter desaparecido…
Mas no final das contas, eu desisti completamente de postar quando eu cheguei em São Francisco e percebi que a minha máquina fotográfica tinha parado de funcionar…. Pensei que aquilo só podia ser um sinal… Então eu acabei decidindo curtir as férias plenamente. O que eu podia fazer, de qualquer maneira?
As fotos são da road trip que nós fizemos em família. Fomos basicamente para lugares que eu já tinha visitado em outras viagens. Foi um outro jeito de apreciar as belas paisagens da costa oeste dos Estados Unidos… Com o meu Iphone, que era a única máquina fotográfica que eu tinha!

These are the last pictures I took in Los Angeles last April. Just for the anecdote about these photos : we bought these smoke devices on the road from Las Vegas to Joshua Tree ( by the way, isn’t it weird to find «Fireworks mall» in the middle of almost deserted small towns ! If someone could tell me why we can find there streets with lot of big fireworks stores ! Is it a common pastime ? ).
Well, we used these smoke devices a first time in the desert. Then we took these pictures in Los Angeles. Just a clarification why I’ve often a strange face on those pictures, it’s due to the smoke that was stinging my eyes and made me cry ….. Yeah, a genuine warrior !
